Our Plants
Crassulaceae
Crassulaceae, or the "stonecrop family", includes 1,200-1,500 species of shrubs, herbs, subshrubs - and rarely - aquatic or treelike species. All plants are united by the possession of simple, succulent leaves, and CAM photosynthesis.
While species are located worldwide, they are primarily distributed in the xeric environments of South Africa, and the mountains of Mexico and Asia (1, 2).
