About us:
The UA Plant Science Club is a student run organization at the University of Arizona that aims to engage students in life sciences through experiential learning, professional development, collaboration, and camaraderie. UA Plant Science Club does this by helping students interact with faculty from various departments in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) and the College of Science. UA Plant Science Club also provides students the opportunity to apply their knowledge of plant sciences by working in the club greenhouse on projects that benefit the community and generate revenue for club activities. We facilitate student members’ involvement in university, community, regional, and national events that center around the life sciences, agriculture, and environmental stewardship. UA Plant Science Club members come from a wide range of backgrounds and academic majors. They are unified by their desire to enhance their academic training, develop leadership skills, make friends, and pave the way for more students to pursue careers that protect and sustain the natural world on which we all depend.
